Itinerio is an independent travel guide focused on one city: New York. We publish practical, opinionated walks through the neighborhoods, kitchens, parks, and boroughs that make the place worth the trip. There are no sponsored rankings and no commission deals behind our recommendations.

What we cover

Our guides cover the whole trip, not just the postcard sights. We write about the practical essentials before you fly, getting around the city, Manhattan and each of the boroughs, where to eat and where to sleep, ready-made itineraries, the seasons and their events, passes and tickets, staying safe, and easy day trips out of the city. Each piece is built around a single question a real traveler asks: when should I go, what should I skip, and what will actually go wrong.

How we write

We favor specific, verifiable details over vague enthusiasm. Where we state a figure - crowd sizes, fares, seasonal hours - we hedge with words like "roughly" or "typically" because conditions change. We would rather tell you a museum is closed on Tuesday than pretend the calendar is constant.

Editorial independence

We do not accept payment to include a venue, and we do not let advertisers shape a guide's content. Advertising on the site is handled by third-party networks and kept clearly separated from editorial copy. Questions about the site can reach us at contact@itinerio.com.
